In short
AdFront Media (“we”, “us”) runs paid advertising campaigns and operates this website. We collect very little about visitors to adfront.media, we record limited technical information when someone clicks one of our ads, and we never sell personal information or use it to profile people. Questions go to info@adfront.media.
Scope
This policy applies to adfront.media and to the advertising campaigns we run on third-party platforms, together with the systems we use to manage and measure those campaigns. The platforms that show our ads, and the websites our ads lead to, are run by other companies under their own privacy policies.
This website
adfront.media is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising or social-media trackers. The provider that serves the site keeps ordinary server logs (request time, requested page, IP address and user agent) for a short period to keep the service running and secure.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; your browser requests them directly from Google, which may log that request under Google’s privacy policy.
If you write to us, we keep your name, email address and message for as long as we need them to reply and to keep a record of the conversation.
Our advertising
What we record when you click an ad
A click on one of our ads may be routed through our measurement system on its way to the destination page. For that click we may store:
- the time of the click and which campaign, ad group and ad it belongs to;
- the click identifier the advertising platform attached to the link;
- the browser user agent and the country of origin;
- a one-way hash derived from the IP address, used only to spot automated or fraudulent traffic (the IP address itself is not kept);
- a random reference number for the click.
No cookies are set in this step, and we do not learn your name, email address or any account details.
What we learn afterwards
If a destination page reports an outcome back to us (for example that a sponsored result was selected), the report carries only our random reference number, the search term involved and an estimated value. We use it to understand which campaigns work.
What we send to platforms
To let a platform measure the ads it delivered, we report conversions back to it using the platform’s own click identifier and the conversion value, plus the user agent and page address where the platform requires them. We do not pass on IP addresses or contact details.
Why we process this information
- to measure, optimise and pay for our advertising campaigns;
- to detect invalid, automated or fraudulent traffic;
- to reconcile reports with the platforms and partners we work with;
- to answer messages sent to us.
Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR or Swiss law applies, our legal basis for campaign measurement and fraud prevention is our legitimate interest in running advertising responsibly; for correspondence it is taking steps at your request. Where a platform or partner must obtain consent for its own processing, we rely on the consent it collects.
Who we share it with
Advertising platforms (as described above), the partners who operate destination pages, and the cloud providers that host our systems, which act only on our instructions. We disclose information to authorities only where the law requires it or to protect our rights or those of our partners.
Retention
Click and conversion records are kept for campaign reporting, billing reconciliation and fraud prevention, then deleted or anonymised. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant to the relationship.
International transfers
Our systems and providers operate in Canada, the European Union and the United States. Transfers between these regions rely on the safeguards available under the applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email info@adfront.media and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Deleting click records. Our click records hold no name or email address, so to find yours we need the approximate time of the click, the platform where you saw the ad and, if possible, the page you landed on. Send these with the subject “Data deletion request” and we will delete any matching records and confirm.
Children
Neither this website nor our advertising is aimed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
